A Chorus Line No. 48 - Bebe Neuwirth

Bebe Neuwirth auditioned for A Chorus Line when she was 18 years old. After auditioning 3 times, she was cast as Louis, understudying Cassie and Sheila at 19. She toured with the International Company from 1978-9 and eventually took over the role of Sheila, then of Cassie on the road. She then came to Broadway as Lois and took over Sheila for about a year, leaving the show when she was 22.
