"Michael watched the finale number from his perch atop a ladder, situated in the twelfth row, center of the orchestra section of the audience. When we all completed the bows, he enthusiastically requested the throng of dancers to do the bows one more time. One at a time, each row bowed, staying bent over while, row after row, bowed on designated counts of the music. When the thirteenth row finished, everyone stood up again, on the fourteenth count. Everyone had bowed to the king."
